So last night I sat here feverishly trying to type my post and no less than THREE times!!!! I got kicked out of blogger….which is my sorry excuse for having this post up so late today. Awful I know, but did you ever have one of those days? I seem to have them often. Which is difficult when you want to appear like the hostess who has this whole entertaining
Are you looking for a fun mailable gift idea? Send a Ball through the mail! This is perfect for family and friends that don’t live close by but you want to make them feel extra special and celebrate a special occasion in a fun way. Sometimes, the cost of shipping a gift can deter you from sending even something small. But I think mailing a ball, with a message, is
Have you ever found yourself staring at an apple and thought, “Wow, I wish there was a simple way to turn that apple into a candle holder?” Okay, probably not, but now that I have you thinking about it, allow me to introduce you to the Candle Carver. This ingenious product carves out a perfect tealight-candle-shaped niche in a large variety of fruits and vegetables. Use it to make candles
It is no secret that I LOVE iced tea. Give me a venti black iced tea, unsweetened from the Bizzle any day and I am a happy girl. And while I generally don’t like any sweeteners near my crisp refreshing beverage, I think I can make an exception for these. Hammond’s Candies makes a little something called an iced tea sipper. Or my wallet. Or my entire
I love weddings. For a very short while, in college, I assisted a wedding photographer. I enjoyed learning more about photography but LOVED being at the weddings and seeing all the special touches each couple came up with. Like the gospel choir at the Jewish New Years Eve wedding in Los Angeles. Or the custom wine created by a groom who owned an Italian restaurant. So even though I have
My husband’s family is fairly large. We were counting and I think that we’re up to 13 nieces and nephews just on his side alone. Its a little crazy. When everyone gets together for family gatherings it can be a little overwhelming, but I love to watch all the kids run around together. Unfortunately for me, having that many nieces and nephews also means having that many birthdays to remember.
