    Ingredient Notes

Ingredients for a Rosé Lemonade Cocktail.
What you need to make this rosé cocktail.

Start with good-quality rosé wine. I buy most of my wine from Winc. They are my wine club that is super affordable and easy to skip a month whenever I want to.

You can pick your own bottles or have them choose for you. Shipping is very quick and they always have some delicious rosé options.

From their famous Summer Water to the cans of Ruza, there are tons of great pink options!

You can use homemade or store-bought lemonade. And be sure to have fresh lemon on hand, both for garnish and to adjust the flavor of your cocktail.

Club Soda adds fizz, which makes it even more refreshing.

How to make a Rosé Lemonade Cocktail

Woman pouring lemonade into a glass next to a bottle of rosé.

In a wine glass with ice, add your favorite lemonade.

For this cocktail, I love these simple stemless wine glasses. But these are my favorite wine glasses. So pretty!

Add a splash or more of club soda. Give it a gentle stir.

Taste it. If you want to brighten up the flavor a little you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

I do this, but it will depend on if you made your own lemonade or used store-bought.

Garnish with a little piece of lemon and sip away.

One sip of this rosé lemonade cocktail can transport you to a made-up summer destination in your head.

I love mixing rosé and lemonade. It’s tasty and it’s great for day drinking. Although I love a good buzz, I do not love to be buzzed around my kids.

If I want to relax at a pool or under my umbrella on a hot summer day, I like a cocktail with less alcohol. This Rosé Lemonade Spritzer is perfect for that.

I save the hangovers for girls’ weekends.

    Tips and Tricks

    • Be sure to taste your drink and adjust the flavors to your liking. I like to use the fresh lemon to add brightness and for extra tartness.
    • Club soda can be a little bit too fizzy for some people. You can also try a gentler sparkling water as a substitute.
    • In addition to, or in lieu of the lemon twist, try adding edible rose petals as a garnish or a rose rim.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What type of rosé should I use?

It really doesn’t matter what type of rosé you use in this cocktail. Easy, right?

Rosé is made with red grapes that are only in contact with the skins for a little while giving it that pink color and distinct flavor.

There are all kinds of flavor profiles across pink wine. White Zinfandel is super sweet. I prefer a more dry rosé from Provence. They all work! That’s the beauty of this versatile recipe.

What type of lemonade should I use?

Again, there’s no wrong answer to what type of lemonade you should use. I prefer to use something store-bought so I don’t have to squeeze a zillion lemons.

But fresh lemonade would be even more flavorful! You can even use pink lemonade if you want. It will give it an even more pink color.

You could even use a lavender lemonade to introduce another flavor element.

    When should I drink rosé?

Rosé is a versatile wine that is perfect just about any time of year, but it is one of my favorites for sipping poolside in the summertime. If you can’t decide between red or white, opt for rosé.
