Haus Cocktail Recipes To Try Right Now

Collage of cocktails made with Haus aperitif wine.

You’re going to love these easy Haus Cocktail recipes! If you have fallen in love with the cool brand of aperitif wines as I have, you’ll want to bookmark this post!

As a fan of wine cocktails, I’m obsessed with these drink ideas that are quick to make and extra tasty with flavors like Peach Passionfruit and Citrus Flower!

Cocktails made with Haus are complex and flavorful!

This post was originally published on December 2, 2020, and has now been updated with more recipes.

If you don’t know this brand, read my Haus review first.

Why Haus is a Great Mixer

While Haus flavors are great to drink on their own, they also make delicious cocktails.

I have tried all the flavors and to say I’m borderline obsessed is putting it mildly.

With lower alcohol, they are the perfect way to kick off an evening. From mixing it with club soda to adding a splash of champagne, Haus drink recipes are simple and delicious.

Be sure to check out my Lemon Lavender Moscow Mule recipe made delicious with Haus!

While some of these cocktails call for a specific flavor of Haus, they can pretty much all be interchanged.

I love the warm notes of the Peach Passionfruit (it’s actually less fruity and more spiced and coconut-y than you may think) with bourbon, but Citrus Flower works equally as well.

Use these drink recipes as a guide, but try your own thing too! You can’t go wrong!

What I love about making cocktails with Haus is that while fresh ingredients are always tasty in cocktails, these taste great on their own if you don’t fresh citrus or herbs on hand.

    Haus Cocktails

These recipes are from Haus. They have some recipes on their site, and more come in their newsletter and when you receive a shipment. I don’t take credit for these.

I will be starting to create my own cocktails with Haus soon, though!

    1. Haus Soda

    • 2 parts Haus (any flavor)
    • 1 part tonic or soda water

Serve on the rocks. Add a squeeze of fresh citrus if desired.

    2. Haus Spritz

    • 2 parts Haus (any flavor)
    • 1 part soda water
    • 1 part sparkling wine
    • lemon garnish, optional

Serve on the rocks in a wine glass. Like an Aperol Spritz, these aperitif wines are complex in flavor and tend to be less sweet which I love.

Check out my recipe for a Lemon Lavender Haus Spritz.

    3. New Fashioned

    • 3 oz. Bitter Clove
    • Splash of favorite dark liquor

Serve on the rocks with an orange twist.

If you like the herbal flavor of bitters, you’ll love Bitter Clove!

    4. Haus Julep

    • 2 oz. Haus Lemon Lavender
    • 1 ½ oz. bourbon
    • fresh mint

Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of a cocktail glass. Add ice (crushed if you have it) and top with Haus and bourbon.

For a boost of lavender flavor add a few drops of lavender bitters. I also put lavender bitters in my coffee so you’ll want to try that too…

    5. La Casa

    • 3 oz. Citrus Flower
    • Splash of Mezcal

Serve on the rocks with lime.

Don’t have Mezcal? Just use tequila. Citrus Flower is bright and floral. YUM!

    6. Haus Manhattan

    • 3 oz. Spiced Cherry
    • Splash of Rye Whiskey

Serve on the rocks with an orange twist.

    7. Golden Hour

    • 2 parts Peach Passionfruit
    • 1 part Pineapple Juice
    • 1 dash of bitters

    Serve on the rocks.

This one, with a little extra juice, is the most cocktail-y of the bunch. I would even add a little whiskey to this and really turn it into a party.

    8. Ginger Spritz

    • 2 parts Ginger Yuzu
    • 2 parts sparkling wine
    • 1 part ginger beer
    • Splash of fresh lime juice

Serve on the rocks and garnish with a lime twist. The Ginger Yuzu has a strong ginger flavor and leans on the savory side.

    9. La Rosa Paloma

    • 2 parts Rose Rosé
    • 1 part grapefruit juice
    • Splash of mezcal or tequila
    • Squeeze of fresh lime juice

    Serve on the rocks.

    10. Lavender Lemonade

    • 2 parts Lemon Lavender
    • 1 part lemonade
    • 1 part soda water
    • Serve in a tall glass on the rocks

I would absolutely use lavender bitters for an extra hit of flavor. The lavender in this Haus flavor is really subtle so if you want to really taste it, use the bitters.

Or you can make my Lavender Lemonade recipe as the base and add the Haus and soda water.

    11. Lemon Lavender Moscow Mule

If you’re new here I should share that I LOVE Moscow Mule recipes and variations. So making one with Haus just made sense.

Head over to my post to see how to make a refreshing and delicious Lemon Lavender Haus Moscow Mule.

    12. Strawberry Basil Vodka Cocktail with Haus

Haus recently released a special edition flavor for summer that I couldn’t wait to try. Strawberry Basil Haus is sweet with herbal notes and makes a great cocktail mixer.

They sent this recipe over and with a little splash of vodka, this Strawberry Basil Cocktail is refreshing and super flavorful. Grab a bottle before it’s gone!

    How to buy Haus

Shop Haus button for the blog with image of bottles and a magazine on a table.

Haus is available online and can be bought by the bottle or as part of a membership.

I’m telling you, a membership is worth it! While a bottle is more expensive than I would usually spend on a bottle of wine, you don’t drink it the same and it lasts longer.

But not so long that you won’t want that next bottle.

I had mine set to 1 bottle every 3 months but just changed my next ship date so I could get the Spiced Cherry to enjoy all winter long.

To see if you like Haus wines, they offer a Sampler Kit with 4 bottles (each bottle is enough for 2-3 drinks).

From there, you can purchase full-size bottles (with free shipping if you are a member).

I love fortified wines, so Haus is right up my alley!

If you’re not sure where to start, I would say the Citrus Flower is the most easy drinking and the sweetest.

And I was pleasantly surprised by the Peach Passionfruit. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, but I fell in love!

The Rose Rosé is my least favorite but I think that is because I don’t love red wine and this one definitely leans that way. And I didn’t pick up any rose.
