Delicious Dining (and Fireworks) at JW Marriott Anaheim
As an Anaheim native, I love to know about all the dining options in and around Disneyland. The JW Marriott Anaheim offers several tasty restaurants plus an extra special way to enjoy the Disneyland fireworks. I recently got a chance to try out Tocca Ferro Restaurant and the rooftop lounge, Parkestry. These two distinct dining experiences are a must-try in the heart of Anaheim.
I was treated to dinner and drinks at Tocca Ferro and Parkestry located in the JW Marriott Anaheim.
JW Marriott Anaheim Restaurants to Try
Whether you’re looking for overnight accommodations for a trip to Disneyland or just a little staycation, the JW Marriott Anaheim offers comfort and elegance.
I have not stayed there but my friend Kathy told me the rooms are spacious and invite absolute relaxation. She and her son loved their stay at the Marriott and couldn’t speak highly enough about it. With great service, modern amenities, and tranquil vibes it’s such a great escape that feels like luxury.
No shade. But when you think of hotels near Disneyland, you don’t often think of the word “luxury”. But the minute you walk in the front door, you are treated to a calm, beautiful lobby. And that feeling carries right into the restaurants.

The hotel also has several delicious dining options including Tocca Ferro Chop House and Parkestry. From yummy Italian dishes to a pretty outdoor lounge with views of Disneyland fireworks, you’ll love them!
Near the Disneyland Resort and Downtown Anaheim, JW Marriott Anaheim gives you a great home base for whatever you’re doing.

Tocca Ferro Restaurant
Tocca Ferro Chop House is found within the JW Marriott Anaheim resort hotel down the street from Disneyland. Not only does it bring convenience to hotel guests but gives locals exceptional Italian cuisine in this surprisingly luxurious hotel.
The ambiance of Tocca Ferro and the amazing Italian flavors of the inspired dishes create an unforgettable dining experience. Tradition and innovation paired with locally sourced ingredients (like, from their own garden!) make for a menu that is full of crowd-pleasing options.
From delectable pasta creations to inventive desserts, Tocca Ferro’s menu is one you’ll love.
I stuck with my favor sauvignon blanc but I did sip my friend’s cocktails and they were very well done. The Aperol Spritz was extra refreshing.
I ordered the salmon which was sensational and absolutely perfectly cooked. I’m still legit dreaming about the Brussels Sprouts (some of the best I’ve had recently). And the seabass served tableside with melted brown butter was out of this world.
The Filet Mignon came out in a very dramatic fashion. A cloche was removed at the table to let smoke billow out. The flavor was not too much, just a subtle smokiness. But it sure was fun to watch them serve it.
And the gnocchi were so soft and pillow-y! I’ve been thinking about them ever since.
Parkestry Rooftop Lounge
Parkestry is a captivating outdoor terrace located on the 11th floor of the JW Marriott Anaheim. It’s picturesque and a perfect escape for anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy happy hour and beyond.
With artisanal cocktails and delectable small plates (hello Smash Burger Sliders), it’s the best place to be to wind down the day.
The classic desserts were a delightful finishing touch to our meal downstairs. We ordered all of the desserts, the Strawberry Shortcake, Churros and Banana Eggrolls.
The hint of fresh herbs in the Strawberry Shortcake made it my favorite and I highly recommend it!
As the evening unfolds, Parkestry also has an unobstructed view of the Disneyland fireworks. Just imagine yourself away from the crowds, sipping on a cocktail under the stars while being treated to the spectacular (seasonal) fireworks show high above Disneyland Resort.
With the music from the bar and the dim lights, it’s such a perfect way to view the fireworks. Our weather was absolute perfection and it was warm and comfortable throughout our whole visit.
This outdoor lounge is perfect for a romantic date night or celebration with friends.

I know practical information is always helpful when planning a night out. Here’s how you can make the most of your visit:
Reservations: To ensure a fun and stress-free dining experience, you should make reservations in advance. Both Tocca Ferro and Parkestry can be popular dining destinations, especially during peak times.
Booking ahead guarantees you a spot at these sought-after culinary havens. Reservations are handled for both restaurants on Open Table.
Dress Code: Both venues have a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Tocca Ferro, however, is a little more upscale with a smart-casual dress code.
Parkestry is a little bit more casual and encourages comfortable and weather-appropriate attire for your enjoyment. Even though southern California has great weather most of the year, you’ll want to plan ahead and wear layers or bring a jacket.

Currently, Tocca Ferro is open at 6:30 am for breakfast (until 11 or 12, depending on the day). Open for dinner at 5 pm Tuesday – Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.
