Dessert Dips to Pair With Your Fave Reality TV

For me, there is nothing better than relaxing in front of TV with a quick and easy dessert recipe. Self care is extremely important and with our lives constantly being so busy with work, school, and extracurriculars, it's crucial to find ways to de-stress. Since I have a wicked sweet tooth, I decided to round up my favorite yummy Dessert Dips and pair them with my favorite reality TV shows.

Of course, I wouldn't eat all the dip in one sitting. In fact, these sweet dips are also a perfect party food idea. So whether you want to enjoy them alone, or share them with friends, you'll def want to make one of these delish recipes!

Doing something you enjoy is a great way to destress. TV is my ultimate happy place. I'm not a movie watcher, I much prefer shorter shows. And reality TV is the perfect way to shut your mind off and veg out for a little while. There are all kinds of shows so if you aren't into housewives arguing or families fighting, there's still a show you'd like.

Listen, This Old House  (literally the world's most boring show) is still on and my hubby loves it. There's literally something for everyone.

And if reality TV is accompanied by one of these easy dessert dips, it’s even more enjoyable and the perfect self care.

Dessert dip recipes are the perfect yin to the traditional savory dip's yang. These dips are paired with things like cookies, fruit, crackers, cinnamon rolls and salty goodies like chips and pretzels. The sky is the limit when it comes to dessert dips.

Dessert Dips and the Perfect Reality TV Pairing

Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Dip by Dancing Through the Rain | Any recipe with cheese is perfect for the Kardashians. This is always a fall-back show to watch when nothing else is on. It drives me crazy how the sisters treat each other.

I'm #TeamKourtney all the way. This yummy cream cheese dip with rich chocolate flavors seems like the perfect choice. The marshmallows add the right amount of fluff, just like the show.

Butterscotch Cheesecake Dip by Smart Savvy Living | Butterscotch is one of my favorite flavors! I'm dying to try this yummy dessert dip. This recipe pairs perfectly with Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. I'm oddly hooked on this season (it's not something I watch regularly). Can't stop, won't stop.

My two faves have already been voted out so I need to reevaluate the houseguests to choose a new favorite. If this Butterscotch Cheesecake Dip was there, I would vote it for Head of Household.

M&M Marshmallow Cheesecake Dip by Big Bear's Wife | Geez, Married to Medicine turned into a real downer. I used to really like this show but then there was all kinds of drama between the husbands and wives and it got too intense for me. In order to watch it now, I'd definitely need a fun dessert dip recipe like this one with pastel M&Ms.

Mint Chocolate Cheesecake Dip by Flavor Mosaic | So I'm kind of addicted to Ashlee and Evan. And this Mint Chocolate Cheesecake Dip is ideal. These kids are too cool for school - and super sweet to each other (when they aren't apart because Evan is trying to be an actor and singer and father and husband and media mogul and the list goes on....).

I'm glad Ashlee is back to her singing career. What bravery to start over after losing credibility with that Saturday Night Live fiasco!

Strawberries Romanoff Dip by Cupcakes and Cutlery | If you are a fan of the Bachelor, you'll love this yummy Strawberries Romanoff dip! It's perfect to eat while sipping some champagne and watching one person date 25 people simultaneously.

Citrus Creamsicle Fruit Dip by Happy Family Blog | Although it's only been on for one season so far, I was really into Very Cavallari. Kristin starred in Laguna Beach (Orange County - get it? Citrus dip?), which is 15 minutes from me, and so it's fun to watch a local spread her wings and fly. I love that she's created a handful of successful businesses and is now a mom too!

Margarita Fruit Dip by Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom | Any cocktail themed dip would be perfect for any of the Real Housewives. And yes, I watch them all. The Orange County housewives are v into their tequila so this Margarita Fruit dip makes perfect sense.

7 Layer Fruit Dip by Simply Designing | This layered fruit dip, is A) genius and B) perfect for chowing down on while watching Below Deck. There are so many layers to that show! From the lives of the crew (and all their hookups) to the guests that come on board, this show is always entertaining.

Easy dessert dips to make for all your reality tv watching.

Key Lime Dip by Dinner Mom | Nothing says Summer House like Key Lime Dip, right? I can't wait for this show to be on again. It's such an interesting way to live your life in summer. These New Yorkers summer (which means driving hours to the house every single weekend) in a rented house in the Hamptons.

It's crazy to watch grown-ass people get plastered. Every weekend. And these man-children have a hard time giving up on their independence and just try to get lucky. There's also a fair amount of wig wearing...

Churro Cream Cheese Dip by me | This yummy churro inspired dessert dip is perfect for jamming into your mouth while you watch Bachelor in Paradise (August can't get here soon enough!). It's one of my favorite guilty pleasures! The location is always in Mexico and it's so fun to watch these Bachelor cast-offs frolic in paradise and try to find love. They mostly find drama.

Unicorn Fluff Dip by Sugar, Spice and Glitter | This Unicorn Fluff Dip just screams Lindsey Lohan's Beach Club. I have only seen one show so far but there couldn't be a more perfect dessert dip for LiLo's Grecian Beach Club. Where she manages people. In a bar. Sounds super healthy, right?

Funfetti Dip by A Salty Side Dish | This Funfetti dip is perfect for Vanderpump Rules watching. These kids are living the dream, just working in restaurants and trying to take advantage of any opportunity for self-promotion that their boss will allow! Plus the language is very colorful which is perfectly demonstrated by the rainbow sprinkles.

collage of easy dessert dips to eat for your next reality show binge watch session.

Cadbury Creme Egg Dip by Bitz and Giggles | I need to make this Cadbury Creme Dip and dive into Tidying Up. I love the energy that Marie Kondo has. But she's crazy. And this dip looks crazy good. I usually only eat one of these yummy eggs a year and maybe this year it's going to be in dessert dip form.

Banana Cream Pie Dip by Princess Pinky Girl | Have you seen Insta Famous on Netflix? It's so interesting. It's all about how people got really popular on their accounts. Banana Cream Pie is the perfect dip since EVERYONE craves this at some time in their lives (even me, and I don't love bananas).

And everyone right now wants to be Insta Famous. But that dang algorithm! (I'm shaking my fist at the app as I say that for added drama. I just wish you could see it!).

Hot S'Mores Dip by Spend with Pennies | This gorgeous S'mores Dessert Dip would be perfect for American Beauty Star. If you are into hair and makeup at all, this show is for you! I'm in awe of their talents. And dreams are coming true! To me, the perfectly toasted marshmallow is also a dream come true.

Slow Cooker Praline Dip by Tammilee Tips | Southern Charm is one of the only reality TV shows that my husband watches with me. This sweet Praline Dip would be the perfect thing to serve while we watch these good looking, mostly wealthy people, try to grow into productive adults (even though some of them are close to 40...).

And for a bonus dessert, I know it's not the holidays anymore but this Gingerbread Dip sounds so tasty. I would totally shove this in my face while watching the Holiday Baking Championships on Food Network.
