I LOVE to buy presents for people. But I really love wrapping the presents too. Don’t get me wrong, I do not wrap them with elaborate bows and present toppers that rival the actual gift. And I LOVE watching cheesy holiday romantic movies. So my perfect afternoon is wrapping holiday presents whilst watching the movies that my family makes fun of me for loving. So I’ve rounded up the Netflix holiday movies that you need to watch while wrapping the gifts. Because they’re pretty cute.
I only share things that I love and think you will too. If you purchase through one of these links, I am compensated.
These holiday movies are not the usual family favorites (trust me, Netflix has those too). These are the sappy holiday flavored romantic comedies. They are very reminiscent of the Hallmark Christmas movies. But what happens when you’ve seen all of those? These Netflix movies are Hallmark-esque and perfect for an afternoon or evening of wrapping presents. Grab a glass of wine, turn on a holiday movie, spread out all your wrapping stuff and get to work!I decided to create a little printable for you also. This cute little sign makes a great last-minute gift idea especially when paired with a Netflix gift card, some movie candy, popcorn and canned wine. Or, just print it out and add it to your own home decor! We always end up with SO many gifts to wrap every year. A Netflix marathon can absolutely make it more fun and keep things from being overwhelming. It makes laundry more fun, you KNOW it will help to get through all the wrapping! I usually try to wrap some of the presents while the kids are in school but I also try to add in an evening of wrapping. Every year my mom takes the boys for a sleepover and they decorate gingerbread cookies. This allows my husband and I to finish up the wrapping. And while this list of holiday movies on Netflix are deemed unacceptable when my husband is helping, it is PERFECT for my wrapping sessions.
What do you do to make wrapping presents more fun? What are your favorite holiday movies?
Netflix Holiday Movies
A Christmas Prince (watch this before the newest movie below)
The Princess Switch (This one is SUPER cute – even my 12-year-old son was sucked into this one!)
Not a romantic comedy but a fun holiday movie nonetheless! How the Grinch Stole Christmas (with Jim Carrey)
And while the holidays might be a super busy time of year, I might just want to plan a binge-watching party for my girlfriends! I still haven’t started Pretty Little Liars and there are like 7 seasons! And if you haven’t ever re-watched Friends, you need to. I’ve been watching it with my son and it really is one of the best sitcoms ever made.
Pin it for later!
