Honestly, I love simple desserts. Why? The sooner I can finish making it, the sooner I can eat it.

So simple, and no-bake, which means I can enjoy the party too!

    Ingredients

Ingredients to make chocolate and pretzel dipped donut holes on a table with a wooden block in the background.
This is what you will need to make chocolate pretzel donut holes.
    • Glazed donut holes
    • Chocolate chips
    • Pretzels

While these would work with a box of donut holes you find at the grocery store, I highly suggest swinging by your local mom-and-pop donut shop to pick up some fresh ones.

I'm certainly not going to risk life and limb and attempt to fry my own donuts.  So I buy them and then jazz them up. Easy. Delicious. Fattening. Perfection.

How to Make Chocolate Pretzel Donuts

Three donut holes dipped in chocolate and crushed pretzels on a piece of white wax paper on a white table.

    Step 1

Crush some pretzels and melt some chocolate.

    Step 2

Dip donut holes into the chocolate and then into the crushed pretzels.

    Step 3

Pop in the fridge to set for about 20 minutes.

And then shove them in your face.  Next time I might even get more gluttonous and cover the WHOLE thing in chocolate and pretzels.

Bite-sized things are just so cute.  And did you know when you eat cute things they have fewer calories?  Ok, I totally made that up but it sounds like it should be true.

Pretzel pieces stuck to chocolate on the bottom of donut holes on a white table with wooden block stand in the back.

What is true is that this easy donut hole hack is simple and versatile. It will fit any occasion and comes together quickly when you have guests. Even your kids will love them.
