This dessert dip is great for when you want a delicious treat to share with others. It comes together in just 5 minutes!

With 7 ingredients, many that you’ll already find in your pantry, it’s super easy to make any time.

I shopped at my local Albertsons for their exclusive brands, including debi lilly design™ but you can also find them at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Safeway, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Randalls, Shaw’s Supermarket, Star Market, and Tom Thumb.

The whole family will love this recipe! With classic flavors, the dippers and dip will curb the sweet tooth of even the pickiest eaters.

This dip is a great excuse to bring the family together. Make the holiday feel a little more special and gather around the table with this fun Valentine’s Day dessert.

A few colorful decorations from debi lilly design, exclusive to the Albertsons floral department, will enhance the experience and bring new life to your everyday dining.

    Ingredient notes

This recipe works best when the Lucerne® Butter and Cream Cheese are at room temperature. Make sure you plan ahead and set them out ahead of time.

Signature SELECT® Mini Chocolate Chips are the perfect way to add crunch and your favorite chocolate flavor to this dessert.

Signature SELECT Powdered Sugar and O Oraganics® Brown Sugar give this just the right amount of sweetness.

(LEFT) To the bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter and cream cheese.

(RIGHT) Mix well until smooth and creamy, approximately 1 minute.

You can substitute a large bowl and hand mixer if you prefer.

Ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer with salt and vanilla on the counter next to it.

Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, salt and vanilla to the cream cheese mixture.

Mix on low for 30 seconds (watch out – powdered sugar likes to fly!), scrape the sides with a spatula, then mix on medium until smooth.

Add chocolate chips and fold into the sweetened cream cheese mixture with a spatula.

You can use the mixer to mix them in but it will break chocolate flecks into the dip, which is fine, just doesn’t look as nice.

Serve this yummy dip with fresh strawberries, Signature SELECT Graham Crackers, pretzel rods, brownie bites and store-bought sugar cookies from the Albertsons bakery.

Make it feel like a party

With extra time at home, I’ve been looking for ways to make things feel special. Adding some colorful touches and fresh flowers is an easy way to do this.

Debi Lilly Designs currently has limited edition Valentine’s Day items available in the floral department.

The ready-made bouquets are gorgeous and modern and help to bring the outdoors in. With a variety of decorative vases and candles, you can easily create a cool vibe to make the holiday feel special.

All of her products are designed to easily add a pop of color or an instant pick-me-up making them perfect for gifting to friends and family. From rose bouquets to cuddly teddy bears, the floral department is THE place to grab the gifts that you need.

These high-quality products are always affordable and available in-store or online. What I love about her designs is that they can continue to be used well beyond a specific holiday.

    Recipe tips and tricks

    • Make sure that the butter and cream cheese are at room temperature otherwise the dip will not get smooth. You can microwave each item for about 10 seconds, to help ensure they will mix well but you do NOT want them melted.
    • If the dip is too runny after making, put it in the fridge to set up for about half an hour.
    • This dessert is a great one to make ahead of time. Just take it out of the fridge for about 10 minutes prior to serving.

    Fequently asked questions

Can you use regular chocolate chips?

Regular sized chocolate chips will overpower the other flavors. The ratio of cream to chocolate is perfect with the mini chips.

How do you store this dip?

Store this dip in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.

How long will this dip last?

In an air-tight container in the fridge, this dip should stay fresh for about 3 days.

This dip and a few festive decorations is all you need to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your family. A dessert made for sharing will draw everyone around the table.

Fresh roses and bright accents make it feel stylish.

Debi Lily Design bouquets are beautiful. I was obsessed with the look of this rose bouquet so I grabbed a Debi Lily vase that I already had to display it since it was a perfect size.

A bought a gorgeous purple-y pink limited edition Illusion vase to add color and hold a simple bunch of greenery. Paired with the Color Meaning Candle, it added the perfect vibrant touch.

I wish you could smell this candle through the screen! The scent is ‘Sunrise Mimosa’ and it might be one of the best smelling candles I’ve ever had.
