Easiest Ever Party Snack Ideas for Before Trick-or-Treating

A quick and easy snack buffet to serve before trick-or-treating.

This post is sponsored by Farm Rich. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

I found the perfect finger foods to serve before Trick-or-Treating. These are seriously the easiest party snack ideas and it's going to be a game-changer.

Snacks to serve before trick or treating.

No matter how hard I try, I can never get my kids to eat dinner before Trick-or-Treating. We usually invite their friends over for a quick bite beforehand, but all that excitement means they don't take the time to actually eat what I've made.

I've changed my method this year.

These Party Snack Ideas are SO Easy!

I'm not that mom who is going to make themed food for Halloween. Sure, it's all super cute. I just don't have the time, and quite frankly the skills, to make that happen.

While my older son goes off with his friends on Halloween night, I always like to gather everyone at the house before Trick-or-Treating.

I invite over my younger son's friends as well. The more the merrier!

I wouldn't call it a party per se, but I do like to make sure the kids have a chance to eat before walking all over the neighborhood.

Decorations are kept to a minimum - a themed napkin and some spooky fabric really do the heavy lifting here. The focus is on the food, which has to be super easy or they will ignore it!

Halloween party food for kids that's easy to prepare and isn't themed.

I found these Farm Rich Time Outs™ at Walmart and instantly knew they were the perfect party snacks. They're wholesome, protein-packed warm snacks that you make in the microwave.

I love that they are super quick to make and hearty enough to fill them up before they go on the hunt for all things candy.

    What to Serve Before Trick-or-Treating

There are 4 varieties of these delicious party snacks.

    • Fiesta Chicken Roll-Ups with a Mild Poblano Ranch Sauce
    • Boneless Chicken Bites with Sweet BBQ Sauce
    • Mozzarella Bites with Marinara Sauce
    • Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups with Marinara Sauce

They really are the perfect kids Halloween party food.

    Other Easy Party Snack Ideas

Serving a veggie tray with ranch dip is a great accompaniment to the other finger food snacks. I find when I put out a tray for my kids to graze on they actually do!

I always at least try to get in a veggie or two since I know that Halloween is all about the sweets!

I also saw this apple slice fruit tray with caramel dip to serve.

Kids love the sweets and I figured if they had caramel dip (it's a great way to get them to eat apples...) they would leave the Halloween candy I set out for Trick-or-Treaters alone.

These Party Snacks are HUGE Time-Saver

The Time Outs are prepared right in their packaging, in the microwave, making them ridiculously easy to prepare. The special box makes them crispy and yummy just like you want your appetizers to be.

They each come with their own dipping sauce, conveniently served in a plastic cup. While they are meant to feed just one person, I made sure to buy a few packages of each flavor that my Walmart had.

To make it feel a little more like a party, I put the finger foods onto a platter (it's the least I can do since I'm not going to make their food look like Frankenstein...).

Farm Rich is one of America's favorite snack brands and you can find all their delicious snacks and appetizers in the frozen section.

I love to head to Walmart before hosting people at home. I always find inexpensive decorations, and all the other essentials I need to have people over.

Finger food snacks for kids to eat before trick or treating.

Not only are these the best Halloween party food for kids, but they are also perfect for after school! I love that my kids can grab these and make them when they are hungry.

I feel good about the amount of protein they are getting and I'm so glad I found these!

My oldest especially loves the Chicken Bites. He brought up how crispy they get which he was not expecting since they came from the microwave.

He's asked me to keep our freezer stocked with them.

You definitely need to check these out for your pre-Trick-or-Treating needs. Whether you're hosting a party or just trying to get your kids to eat anything other than a candy bar, these are the best even beyond Halloween.

Farm Rich Time Outs™ are perfect for any busy days! They're a single-serving, wholesome warm snack that is perfect for any time of the day.

Make Halloween a little more stress-free this year with the easiest party snack ideas. Your kids will love the taste, and you'll love how fast they were to make.

They're the perfect way to get a little protein in their bellies before a night of trick-or-treating!

Time Outs are available in the freezer aisle at select Walmart and Publix stores for around $3.49 - $4.49.
