Cabi’s Elegancia Collection for Spring

Thank goodness spring is almost here! While it hasn’t been that cold in So Cal, it’s been pretty dreary. I’m certainly ready for all the sunshine. And I’m sure you are too! Cabi’s Elegancia Collection has me dreaming of weekend getaways and spending time at the beach. I picked out a few pieces that you NEED to have this summer too! I was super lucky to find the highly coveted black cabi playsuit when I went to cabi Scoop earlier this year. I can’t stop wearing it. It fits super cute and is the most comfortable thing EVER! So when I saw that there was a spring version as part of Cabi’s Elegancia Collection, I knew I had to have it. And then I saw this shirt dress (also from the Elegancia Collection) and instantly knew it was perfect for me. So what makes this romper, the Playa Playsuit, so special? It’s basically a jumpsuit that is two pieces. I know that doesn’t make sense but it actually totally does. The two pieces (top and shorts) are only attached in the front. You can see from above, it looks like I’ve tucked one section and left the rest of the shirt out. But it’s actually attached to the shorts right there.

But the back of the shirt is not attached to the shorts. Which means that you don’t have to get naked when you use the bathroom. And like many women, I don’t love my rear end. The cut of this playsuit makes it totally wearable and flattering for all kinds of body types. AND IT’S THE MOST COMFORTABLE THING I’VE EVER WORN! Shop the Playa PlaysuitI paired it with the Drop Sparrow Necklace, a layered necklace with a touch of sparkle, to dress up the playsuit a little. I love that this outfit can totally be dressed up or down. And I totally love the way that cabi makes most of their jewelry to be worn in a number of ways. These two necklaces actually come apart and can be worn individually, together or even the longer one wrapped in two. Cabi always nails details like those!

Shop the Drop  Sparrow NecklaceI’m a flats kind of gal but I couldn’t resist these ankle strap TipToe Sandals! The red is such a perfect way to add some color! I was worried that they would be awful to walk in. But they really weren’t! The stacked heel means you aren’t wobbly and they aren’t crazy high so you feel like you are walking on your tip toes. They are just plain cute. And I do admit, a heel always makes the legs look better!

Shop the TipToe SandalsI don’t love wearing shorts so I came up with the perfect way to ease in to them for the season. I’m self-conscious about my upper thighs and although I love the length of the romper, this Shirt Dress worn open as a layering piece really made me feel confident. I loved the mixed patterns together and the high/low look. Adding the Shirt Dress is a great way to dress up the romper and also add some drama. Anything that floats like a cape is ok in my book.

It buttons all the way down the front so you can style this is a bunch of different ways. When I wear this dress on its own, I’ll probably leave the bottom few buttons undone to ensure there is still some movement as I walk. Plus I love the pattern! Thankfully, my kids are older and I don’t really have to worry about getting dirty on the day-to-day.
