My husband was lucky I came home. The Riviera Nayarit area of Mexico is my newest favorite vacation spot. And while I didn't get to stay at this new property, I got to spend a day exploring the All-Inclusive Marival Armony in Punta de Mita, Mexico. And I fell in love. Hard.
I just got back from a press trip to Mexico. Which means that I was provided hotel and activities, coordinated by ConnectHER Media, in order to write about the experience.
I fell in love with Marival Armony!
Marival Armony is the newest property to open in the Riviera Nayarit area of Mexico. Set in Punta de Mita, about an hour drive from the Puerto Vallarta Airport, this property sits right on the ocean and is everything you never even knew you needed in a Mexican vacation.
This new Marival hotel concept finds a perfect balance between luxury and nature. It's a first-class resort and it's opening at the beginning of July!
With the beach to one side and the Sierra Madre mountains to the other, you are tucked into a quiet part of town in the most tropical location your brain could ever dream up. With several pools to help you stay cool and stunning beach views, I completely fell in love with this new all-inclusive resort.
I instantly connected with the design of the hotel. From the thoughtful finishes (tile floors that look like weathered wood, bathroom tiles that mimic the way the wind sweeps over the sand!) to the nature-inspired but modern room art, this resort is breath-taking.
The modern design can be found throughout the entire hotel and feels calming and peaceful. We used a standard room for the day and it was roomy and comfortable and would be great for a romantic getaway.
There are also 2 bedroom suites available should you need a little bit more room to spread out with your family.
Even with the hotel still working to complete a little bit of construction, they have made it feel inviting, cool and like you never want to leave.
Punta de Mita is a really quiet area and home to several other luxury properties. In order to get into the area, you must have reservations or an appointment making it feel secluded and totally safe. The location of this property also puts you in close proximity to the local marina and the adorable town of Sayulita which you really need to spend a day exploring.
I suggest having whatever property you stay at help to arrange transportation when exploring. It's the best way to know the prices up front and they will use a company they trust. Also, if you set up an excursion or tour through Vallarta Adventures, it may include transportation to and from the adventures – so be sure to double check!
Marival Armony is a great all-inclusive resort!
One of the amenities that really stood out to me was the Teen Club. My boys felt they were too old to go to the kid's club on our Cancun vacation so they didn't get to experience any of the games or activities.
The Teen Club at Marival Armony had old-school video games, computer-based games in their own gaming pods, an air-hockey table, foosball, a pool table, movies playing and tables and chairs to hang out in.
They said parents are welcome as well which is awesome since I know my husband would have had a blast hanging out with the kids in there.
There is also a kid's club for the younger kids which is awesome for the mom and dad looking for a little kid-free time on their vacation.
This Punta de Mita resort has gorgeous views!
The gorgeous beach is just a short walk from the rooms and has lounge chairs that are first come, first serve. An attendant is available to help you order food and beverage and make sure you have enough towels. You can swim in the water which is different than some parts of Mexico. This is a great place to bring the kids for a little while and let them splash in the surf.
The beach stretches around a rocky corner and feels quiet and secluded. There are still a few vendors walking around trying to sell you silver jewelry but it doesn't feel aggressive. It really reminded me of our summers in Baja as a kid.
There are also some beach activities to keep the family bonding like kayaks, boogie boards and paddle boards available.
Once complete, the resort will have four pools and 3 Jacuzzis. This seems to be the main pool and there was a rowdy bunch by the swim up bar. While this seems like a fun place to visit with friends, it still feels perfect for families.
There will be adults only accommodations for an added level of relaxation.
The infinity pool with swim up bar was my favorite because look at that view!
There are a few areas that are not included in the all-inclusive price and that is the ocean-view cabanas on the level just below the infinity pool. They are totally worth the cost in my opinion. It was so relaxing right here (you literally have the whole ocean right in front of you if I would have panned the camera right from here).
And let's talk about the food. I didn't get a chance to try out one of their restaurants (they will have 5 plus 4 bars) while I was there, but I did order food from one of these cabanas. It was the BEST chicken quesadilla I've ever had. SO good. I also tried the coconut shrimp, yum and the beer battered fish tacos. Again, yum.
I am desperate to stay here! Since I fell in love with the service from Marival Distinct and the design of Marival Armony, I know that this new all-inclusive resort in Punta de Mita would suit me perfectly.
