Oh yeah. This Churro Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is good. If you’ve never had the basic fruit dip recipe of cream cheese and marshmallow creme you should definitely make that at some point too. Who knew those two little ingredients would taste that good together! So since I was serving this dip for my Mexican themed Chicks and Salsa party, I thought I would change it up and try to make it taste more like a churro. Because churros don’t suck.
Right before serving, add in a little turbinado sugar for a little crunch. This is totally optional. It will not make or break it to have it or not. It just makes it a little more like a perfectly cooked, crunchy churro.
This dip is delicious served with fresh fruits but I would also eat it with pretzels, sweet crackers, cinnamon sugar pita chips, a shovel, my fingers, off my kids face and probably even carrots. The addition of cinnamon makes it kind of fall-y so you should make this for your holiday gatherings.
Churro Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
8 ounce Cream Cheese
1 jar Marshmallow Creme
1 TBSP Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Vanilla
1 TBSP Turbinado Sugar (optional)
Cream together the cream cheese and brown sugar with a handheld mixer. Combine the marshmallow creme with the cream cheese mixture. Add vanilla and cinnamon and blend until well mixed. Add turbinado sugar and mix with spatula, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl to fully incorporate all the ingredients. Serve with fresh fruit or whatever else you would like!
