There’s no wrong way to make this recipe (Unless you want to put mustard in it or something. Then, ew.)

How to Make Strawberry Mint Water

Sliced ginger and lime chunks in the bottom of a glass.

Step 1

Prepare the fruit and herbs first.

Rinse everything then give the strawberries a rough chop. Peel the ginger and slice it into coins, and cut the limes into quarters then cut each of those pieces in half.

Step 2

Add a few slices of fresh ginger and a few chunks of lime to your glass.

*I love bold flavors but if you want it more subtle, just use less of everything.

Step 3

Add the strawberries and mint leaves.

Step 4

Then muddle your little heart out.

The strawberries break down easily. The mint releases its flavor easily. But you’ll need to use a little more pressure on the limes and ginger slices.

Step 5

Add ice to your glass and top with sparkling water.

Step 6

Give it a quick stir.

A glass on a table next to a lime and 2 strawberries with infused sparkling water and metal straw.

Place a sprig of mint in the palm of your hand. Clap your hands together a time or two to get the mint to release its fragrance. Add the mint and straw to your glass and enjoy.

This sparkling strawberry water is super refreshing and delicious. The fresh ginger gives it a little kick and the fresh lime and strawberry just work so well with it.

You will get pieces of fruit stuck in your straw. If you give it a little mix with the straw you can see from the shot above that the larger pieces can get stuck up on top of the ice and make it less likely to stop up your straw.

Or skip the straw altogether and guzzle the crap out of this. It’s that good.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use flavored seltzer?

Yes! I like to use plain soda water but you could easily use flavored seltzer water. It will give it another layer of flavor.

Can I use mineral water?

I like this strawberry water to be fizzy but if you don’t want that, you can use still water or mineral water.

Can you make it sweeter?

If you need a little more sweetness you can add a little bit of simple syrup.
