Notes
Change up the flavor of the crust to make other flavor variations! Oreo, pretzel or even a cookie crust would be delicious.
Swap out the strawberry for peaches and use peach-flavored yogurt for another take on this recipe.
I like to use Greek yogurt as it has more protein and usually less sugar than traditional yogurt.
Technically, you don't HAVE to freeze it. You can place it in the fridge for a few hours to chill then serve. It won't keep its shape as well, but the flavor is still delicious! The texture will be more like a mousse.
Don't want big chunks of strawberry? Toss them into a blender and create a quick puree, then fold into the batter.
Store leftover Yogurt Pie in the freezer, tightly covered, for up to 1 week. Let sit in the fridge to thaw before serving. It is not recommended to put those leftovers back into the freezer. At this point, it's probably time to say goodbye to the pie.
