Learn how to make plastic Milk Jug Planters! This fun kid's craft idea is a great way to recycle empty milk containers. They make a cute flower pot or garden for herbs.
Use scissors to cut off the top part of the milk carton. Leave about 4-5 inches from the bottom.
Use scissors to poke a few holes in the bottom of the milk jug.
Fill the planter with dirt.
Make a hole and add the plant.
Add some water to make sure the soil is damp.
Notes
If making these with your kids, make sure you start the cuts as getting through the plastic can be difficult.You can decorate the outside of the planters before planting them with a little bit of colorful spray paint.
