Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and let steep for 20-30 minutes.
Cool to room temperature, then strain.

Want to bump up the lavender flavor even more? Add more buds to the same amount of water.
If you are enjoying this as a regular tea, you could use a Tea Infuser to make by the glass. You'll need to play around with the steeping time to find your perfect flavor profile.
Store this lavender flavoring in an air-tight jar in the refrigerator for about a week.
To use in a drink simply add a 1/2 ounce of lavender tea to the recipe, mix and taste. Adjust and add more if you prefer.
