Ingredients

sliced strawberries
Instructions
Combine sugar, water and strawberries in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly so sugar dissolves.
Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Cool the syrup, then strain through a sieve or cheesecloth.
Store in an airtight container for 2 weeks.
Notes
Don't squeeze the strawberries in the cheesecloth or it could cause the syrup to get cloudy.
