This easy Margarita Sangria Recipe creates a pitcher full of tasty citrus, tequila and saugivnon blanc married together in the perfect sip! With fresh lime, orange and lemon juices, this wine cocktail is refreshing and perfect on any warm day with friends.
In a large glass pitcher add sliced lemons and limes (and cilantro, if adding).
Add the white wine, tequila, Cointreau and fresh lime, orange and lemon juices. Stir to combine.
Place in fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.
Salt the rim of the cocktail glasses before serving if desired. (Use a piece of fresh lime and rub it on the glass rim, dip into margarita salt).
Serve over ice in a short cocktail or margarita glass.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh cilantro, if desired.
Notes
While I love a margarita with all three citrus juices, you can just use lime juice if you prefer. This will give it more of a legit margarita flavor.
Want to stretch out this drink between more people? Add about an ounce of club soda to each glass when serving! The fizz will keep it super refreshing and it will still have all that delicious flavor.
To make this recipe super easy you can use store-bought lemonade. It will change the flavor slightly and make it sweeter, but it is easier than juicing all that juice! (Although, fresh citrus juice is always worth it in my opinion).
Clapping the cilantro between your palms before using really releases the fragrance!
