The Holiday Gift Guide 2016 is here! Hooray! Gift giving is one of my favorite things of all time! I love to make people smile with a token of my love. But for some, it can be super stressful. I'm hoping that my finds will help you out and let you enjoy the Christmas season. Whether you prefer to shop small and local or find the deals, holiday gift giving is a huge task. I'm the one in my family that everyone turns to for gift ideas for everyone else so it's taught me to be thoughtful and try to really find things that each recipient might like. It's something that I really love doing! And I love to share the products that I have found and love with you too, in hopes that it will help make your holiday lives a little bit easier. I've broken my gift guides down to a new theme each day. Today I'm focusing on what I call gifts for your girlfriends but they are really suited for all the ladies in your life.
Two other helpful sites you should know about (and bookmark so you don't forget them!) are RetailMeNot.com and DealSea.com. This is not sponsored, I just want to make sure you know about these amazing resources! Before I check out of an online shop, I always double-check Retailmenot.com to see if there are any other coupon codes or deals I can use. I don't find things 100% of the time but I'd say at least 80% of the time I can save on shipping or money off the total. Every little bit counts! This also works on Papa Johns… Just saying… The other one is DealSea.com. My brother-in-law turned me on to that site and it lists all the best deals on the web each day. I especially start watching this site daily around the holidays. They usually share all of the black Friday deals for the top stores early so you can't start preparing. This site does all the work for you and will tell you what coupon codes to use to get the best deals.
And if you are in the market for some holiday dresses or gifts for yourself (plus deals on kid stuff like clothes and strollers) you should check out MintArrow.com. She knows how to navigate a sale and helps pass on tips for getting the best deals!

I especially love to buy gifts for my closest girlfriends. I love to look for things that are cozy, well made and well designed. Things that they wouldn't usually buy for themselves are always a great gift idea. And things that help someone just by purchasing them are even better. This Thistle Farms shawl is a perfect gift idea. As you may remember from a previous post, shawls and scarves are very versatile. This one is made from Angora wool by Himalayan Naari. They partner with over 30 women in the Indian Himalayas, empowering the mothers of the children benefiting from the Himalayan Education Foundation. The mothers hand-knit beautiful and warm woolen and Angora goods. It's perfect for a cozy afternoon on the couch and works perfect with all different kinds of outfits. This “v” shaped Journey ring is also from Thistle farms. It can be worn alone or stacked with more. Survivors of human trafficking at iSanctuary in Mumbai, India are taught artisan jewelry skills to create Purpose Jewelry. Purpose Jewelry gives them the education and professional opportunities needed to restore hope and build a bright future. Then, all jewelry is prepared, packaged, and shipped by survivors rescued in Orange County, California. The jewelry on the Thistle Farms website is gorgeous and super well priced. You will feel awesome giving your friends something they love that came from such a good place!
I'm sure the women in your life would love to get any of the ideas from my Holiday Gift Guide 2016 for your girlfriends!

And you may not know this but I have a whole category called gift ideas. Because I love to give gifts to people!
And don't forget in this time of giving, you can really help some very special people out. One of my favorite charity organizations, Operation Shower, provides baby showers and amazing gifts to military moms to be. I've been fortunate enough to have been able to volunteer at a few of the showers and they mean SO much to these families. Operation Shower runs only on donations. If you have a connection to the military or your heart is telling you to look in to this further, please check out their fundraising efforts on their site.
