We just had a weekend of cooler temperatures and it was awesome! It had me totally craving sweater weather. Every year I like to add a few sweaters to my wardrobe and I have found some super cute ones that I feel like I need to get. Fall sweaters are the perfect way to finish an outfit and keep you cozy.

I used to think sweaters were so boring and frumpy. But I realized there are a bunch of cute options that make dressing for colder weather way more stylish. And I feel like the cardigans have gotten way better over the years.
My husband has always made fun of my love for cardigans but now I think they feel more kimono like than librarian…
The balloon sleeves on the black sweater above make it feel oversized without adding extra material around your mid-section (where I know I carry extra weight). I don’t have a lot of green in my wardrobe but this chevron cutie and cardigan (available now in blue and hot pink) might just make their way home with me.
And the rosy pink oversized sweater isn’t available anymore, but this similar sweater would look adorable over jeans or leggings. A dusty pink is such a great color for fall.
I just want to snuggle up in one of these cute sweaters! In California, the need for a coat is rare. But cozy pieces, that you can layer, are totally perfect. I love that fall sweaters fit right into my usual casual mom uniform of jeans and a t-shirt.
Slouchy sweaters are my favorite but I’ll take a second look at a more fitted sweater as long as it has some cool details (like the sweater on the bottom right (sold out and I can’t find a similar one)! Doesn’t it remind you of a Morrocan inspired wedding blanket???)
Also, I can’t quit chenille! My favorite sweaters from last season were all chenille and are super soft and the coziest things ever. Target always has great options that are reasonably priced and wear really well.
Mustard is my fave right color now and I love the cowl neck. I love a cute blue cardigan like this one. Blue is a great neutral. This oversized chevron sweater (sold out – this one is so cute too!) is adorable and a fun way to add some graphic elements to your outfit.
The texture on that white sweater is EVERYTHING! I can’t find another one like it! I’ll keep my eyes out!
So cute right?! Fringe is a great detail to make your sweater extra adorable. Just don’t ask me how to wash this because you know it will never look the same after…
Imagine this fringe sweater with your comfiest jeans and cute booties. You’ll look super put together but totally comfortable which is my favorite style.
Fall Sweaters for Your Momiform!
Chevron sweaters (#4 and #9) look like they are going to be a big trend this fall along with oversized cardigans and I’m into it. I’m also noticing really rich colors, like mustard, in all the stores.
