Cabi Scoop Spring 2018 Recap

March 6, 2018 By Sharon Garofalow Leave a Comment

Cabi knows how to put on a show! Twice a year they throw a huge event, called The Scoop, where they launch their newest collection with a fashion show and education opportunities for their stylists. I got the chance to attend their Spring 2018 event in San Diego and check it out for myself! Cabi Scoop is exciting and fun and the perfect place to get outfit ideas! The spring Scoop did not disappoint and I want to tell you all about it!

This post is written in partnership with Cabi Clothing. I was invited to attend the show with a group of influencers and share the experience with my readers. I was provided travel and clothing. All opinions are always mine!
Women on a catwalk during a fashion show for Cabi Clothing. Cabi is such an amazing company, full of amazing people. And the more I get to know about their business model, the more I fall in love with them. Not only do they make adorable clothes, they also empower women to create their own businesses. Being among the stylists (what they call the women who sell clothing via their home parties), is an awesome way to see the clothes in person. These women put together stylish looks with their Cabi favorites and truly inspired me with new ways on how to wear my own pieces (although my collection is just getting started!).Blonde women in a Cabi Clothing outfit.

I picked out an outfit, from the Fall 2017 collection, to wear to the event. I’ve always had trouble finding pants that fit me well, but I loved these black pants! I had to size down, as their clothing, especially the pants, run large. I love the distressed detail on the knee! I have yet to attend an actual Cabi party hosted by a stylist and I would really love to! I’d love to be able to try on the pants and figure out what size fits me best! The 6 was still a little bit large on me (I generally wear a 10) but I have to imagine a 4 would be way too small!

This blouse had been on my wish-list for a while! I love the cute little tie detail and the length. It also didn’t wrinkle too much which I appreciate! I also wore a cute black coat which was the perfect mix of warmth, casual, and classy. (I literally just wore it today to pick my son up from school over workout leggings and it still looked really cute!)

I took the train and met up with my gorgeous and FUN friend, Romy -also invited to Cabi Scoop, and we had a blast! Every where you went you saw people dressed in Cabi! And everyone was super friendly. We had a few hours to kill before show time and we got the chance to shop previous seasons items. I was crazy excited about that since I had my eye on a blazer and play suit (similar to this one!) I saw worn at the Cabi Conversations dinner. And I ended up with both! SO excited!
Hand holding a Cabi bag in front of a fashion show run way.We were treated to front row seats for the show and the room was full of energy! Before the fashion show got under way, the executives took time to acknowledged the top sellers. YOU GUYS! These are boss babes and they are doing big things! It was super cool to be a part of that and see women get applauded for their hard work! Being among these women feels like a really inclusive sorority!Kimberly Inskeep speaking to Cabi Consultants from a stage. Then Kimberly Inskeep took the stage. She is the president and Chief Culture Officer for Cabi. I love to hear her speak. She’s so inspirational and just plain darling! The executives from this company truly love their jobs which is so great to see. Their passion is infectious and if I were a stylist I know that I would feel proud to be a part of the team. In fact, Kimberly spoke on “passion” and how it can help you to achieve your goals. I left totally fired up.

The fashion show was so well done! The models were diverse and the pace was exhilarating. I loved seeing different body types on the runway so you can see just how the clothes might fit on someone who isn’t rail thin. The 2018 spring collection if full of “lace details, eyelet fabric, pops of red, ’70s wallpaper-inspired prints, ruffles, dramatic sleeves, and flowy trousers. Mixed and layered together, the Spring 2018 Collection represents an altogether more elegant take on seasonal dressing.”

You can see all the highlights from the The Scoop, Cabi’s spring 2018 fashion show, above!

Cabi Spring 2018 Top Picks

Collage of my favorite clothing items from the Cabi Clothing spring line.

Instantly there were pieces that stood out to me. I fell in love with these spring items the minute they hit the run way! And those block heeled red sandals?! SO cute!

I am so grateful for this partnership with Cabi! I have fallen in love with their clothes and team. The Scoop was the absolute most amazing way to experience the launch of the spring 2018 collection. My Cabi outfits have become sort of a capsule collection within my wardrobe and I gravitate towards my favorites over and over! There is so much creativity their stylists show in building looks.
