Links of Love

who, us?

I really wanted to put a new post up tonight. But I’M. TOO. TIRED. Sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you. You’ve done nothing to me. It’s just been a really rough day. I should have known that, with my kid craziness meter reaching alarming levels by 8 am, it was not going to be an easy day. If I think about it, the boys had a hard time going to bed last night. And while I did hear my four year old singing to my little one to try to get him to fall asleep, I think it may have just been a ruse for what must have been a covert tactical run through on how to break mom down. And it worked.

While I wish I had more time to browse all the loveliness that can be found around the web, there are several that I read all the time and want to share with you. Check them out.
Hank and Hunt – not only does Jenny create the most adorable garlands, she created a perfect blog too. I truly love this gem of a blog and check daily to see if she’s posted. I love how she themes her posts, and she truly has a knack for finding the cutest Etsy items and unique party supplies. She’s super crafty and I’ll admit it, I have a crush on her blog.
The City Cradle – the parties that Vicki puts together are the kind that I wish came totally natural to me. She always has tons of tutorials and the photography is stunning. Her themes are totally original and she had a Starbucks hour at her wedding instead of cocktails. Genius.
Celebrations at Home – The consummate professional. I love her ideas, her photo shoots, her contests. She is my blogging role model. While she does an amazing job of creatively rounding up items from around the web, be sure to check out the section of her parties. They are so fun.
Sara’s Party Perfect – For me, this is the best of the best online. The best parties, prettiest photos, and most creative themes. This is the first place I go when I’m looking to be inspired. She is an amazing editor and can tell a story with few words which is something I need to learn to do.
Proper Measures – A new fave. They’re blog is not updated too often, but it is a sweet treat when it is. This husband/wife event styling/planning/photography team is my dream come true. Their events are the perfect mashup of modern, whimsy and wit and I would die to have them plan a party for me.
Not even any photos. Don’t have the energy. The kids sucked it right out of me. It’s a good thing they are cute :). I will tell you to check back early next week where I will post some pretty great photos of a photo shoot I did this week with Found Rentals and a few other very amazing party peeps (including Hank and Hunt!).
