Welcome to the first day of my 2011 gift guide!! And also my first real post being on WordPress!! It is a little slow going getting familiar with all the stuff and also the design is not where it will be yet but it is a great start! I mentioned before that the blogger/wordpress change over was an early Christmas gift to me from my Mommy and I am so appreciative of all her support in my blogging efforts. Thank you!!!!! And I want to also thank Kristin for setting me up with Loren who made this whole daunting process a breeze! If you have been wanting to switch over to WordPress, Christmas is the perfect time. Put Your Local Tech on your list and make it happen! I’m so glad I did. But bear with the bugs please!!!!
I have a love hate relationship with holiday decor. I like it modern or vintage or vintage modern but not a lot in between. These pieces want to be in my house. And I’ve learned over this past year that although my children like the Charlie Brown franchise, I LOVE it (set you DVRs for Thanksgiving night for an all new movie on Fox and the Thanksgiving movie on ABC). One day when we move in to a bigger house I will be hosting Charlie Brown Christmas pajama movie nights for the kids and their friends complete with hot cocoa, hot toddies and yummy treats. Until then I will enjoy it with my kiddos snuggled up tight on the couch!

Ooooh I am going to add some of these things to MY wishlist!
A great list! POP Candy is so good! I always get something from them at the Patchwork Indie Fair. And I love that cookbook from Candace Kumai – I got a copy from her at BlogHer.
This is a fabulous list! I am sending it to my hubbie. Thank you!
Found you through Kathleen’s Sugar and Spice. Can you give the info for the Wild Hibiscus Syrup? Would live to have it for some martini’s.
Thanks
Hi Peggy! Of course you can buy a bottle online, but I am pretty sure most BevMo stores carry it and possibly Whole Foods! I think it is made for drinking with champagne, but I doubt it would ruin a martini!
Ooh, very fun finds. I love those sweater mugs!
I agree with Shari, those sweater mugs are cute! Very fun to look through these entertaining ideas! -Dani
